Welcome
In its MSI GX623 (C2D T6600 Penryn) I have a problem with the CPU Whining.
I read that a solution can be RMClock program. Unfortunately, it does not recognize my chipset thus can not exclude, for example, C4 mode.

Is someone able to help?.

Unfortunately, RMClock doesn't specifically support the Intel PM45 / PM45 chipsets.

You can try changing the CPU low power state settings since it is these changes which cause the whine.

I Understand
Could you give me what I should set the voltage to eliminate the whine?. I have C2D T6600.

Maybe the reason for the cpu ??? whining is a dirty ventilator & cooling unit

I just yesterday cleaned my MSI GX610 since it used to heat up to 80°C in idle and went up to 90°C+ with load .... until black screen (shutoff)

Even RM Clock could not heal this of course ....

But now max temp is 20°C lower and RMClock can reduce it by another 5°C

It would not be a wine CPU. I have a normal temperature.
